Yesterday evening I learnt a famous news. The entrance examination for IUFM of Strasbourg, the one that I was too happy because it has just been a qcm and because I manage qcm (especially when the half it is maths), well that makes it ya a file.
Salt prostitute the file. 50 points, me I have 20 of it. I began putting on edge as a sick woman.

And then I chose to rationalise by maths. I therefore calculated, in view of the fact that last year I had 190/300 in the qcm and 0/50 in the file, in view of the fact that I had a total rate of success of 54 % (I was 54 % of all possible points what).
I then assumed that this year I am going to achieve the qcm similarly, except that this year he is on 200 points, that is I intend to have 127 points. 20 of the file are topped up, this makes 147 points of 250, what makes me a total rate of success of 58 %. Therefore by achieving the same my qcm this year when last year, I will have stronger chances to be accepted than last year.
Phew, this reassured me. A bit.

Then I wanted to see from how many points in the qcm this year I will equate the total rate of success of last year. I therefore put down an equation. Or x the number of points which I get in the qcm this year. (x+20)/250) = total rate of success = 54 %. After a quick calculation I arrive in x=115. It means that if I have more than 115 points in the qcm this year, my score will be better than last year. Knowing that on 200 points of the qcm, 100 are on maths, I have roughly to get one 15/100 in French. Not impossible therefore.
Proof that a bad news at first can prove to be not be so bad as this (anybody understood my reasoning but ok it is not serious).
